Issue: Home Sweet Home... ish

This is quite amazing... i mean, not only am i being followed by construction fields in Switzerland... They seem to follow me EVERYWHERE...!

Just look at this... this is at the back of my appartment... Once, they used to annoy me with their badly sung church songs every weekend..

Now...

That's what i hear every day, from morning til night...

Oh, and!

That's happening in front of my house too! Look!

Sigh... this is what we paid for 4 years ago. Ain't it beautiful? the green field lasted for about... 1,5 years? 2 years at most?

I love Singapore.

Thought: who is more likely to eat alone? Part 2

...in 5min, 3 out of 3 (incl. Myself) ang moh and 1 out of 6 (2ppl/tables) chinese. Further surveys should be done. As this 1 table was a chinese male out of 6 tables of females only...
Theory 2: is it more likely that Singaporean women would eat as a pair than alone? What is the reason of them being alone, if they are?

Thought: who is more likely to eat alone?

It seems like 'ang mohs' are more likely to eat alone than chinese. Is it me or simply... A fact?

Thought: Thinking about it...

I actually had a very 'wild' life to some point. Though it didn't last very long, am currently remembering parties with my friends Norfa and Lynn at Zouk before the St. James times.

I mean, we were dancing til dawn almost every day and then went to work after sleeping 2-4 hours...!! I mean... That's insane. Yet we did it.

Let's not even talk about what happened during the dancing, Hahaha. All i can say is: we came as a group of gals wanting to party and ended up each with a guy to kiss and flirt. (Yes, nothing else. We're still good girls;-))
These days are now pretty much over. We're all very busy working, trying to save money for our future that we wasted during those good times. Basically... Yeah. You can say we grew up.
Yet, in the other hand, i miss those days. Trying to keep it as exciting as it was, but can't quite get it there. I mean, there was an exception, which i'll never reveal;-). All i can say is: my partner and i are trying to keep each other 'excited, alive and safe'...

Life is good, don't waste it.

Thought: Pensive...

This picture taken in the jewish museum in Berlin gives me a thoughtful thinking... It's a very interesting picture that can make you think about what it can represent to you, to the world or to others. Nice shot i think...

Thought: How Can One Be So Naive and Pretensious All At The Same Time?

From what i hear in general, parents want the best for their children. They want them to be happy. That's great! But what happen when one IS happy and the parents try to break it to pieces? Can i get an answer to that? I probably would understand if say, the relationship is not working for... Say... 2months since it started, but what about those who have been together for 2,5 years? I mean, does that make sense?

Also, how Can One say something like ''Oh, that's nice you came to pick me up with the car.'' and the moment there is a fight, the sentence says something like that: ''don't think you can impress me by picking me up with the car of you know who!''
Does that make sense to you?

How can One's ego and image be So fat that what revolves around him is completely blocked by his ego? How Can an insult towards your beloved one make you change your mind? How Can it solve the problem at all?! How Can an assumption be made out of nothing that makes sense?

Yes, i won't deny that i Am talking about myself and my dad. I kind of need to put it down as i still wonder how one can be So cruel and hurtful wit his words and later on being capable of blaming me for not talking to him... (Again, does that make sense to you?)

Yes, i should have stayed home a bit more often before leaving. That's what triggered everything. Thus, i apologize on that one. Yet, in the other hand, things could have been so much easier and satisfying to everyone if i could have stayed at home WITH my partner of soon 3 years. Instead, my partner slept over one of my friend's place. Why? Cos i'm gay :-). Anyway, that's besides the point...

He claims that i will be alone when i'm older... But don't we all at the end?
If he thinks that i Am alone now, then what about him now? I think he's a very lonely guy who doesn't even have friends who WANT to spend time with him. Now i wonder why... Being the charmer, the 'intelligent scientist with big titles', the one making jokes to make people laugh so that he gets the attention from everyone... Yet, he still doesn't have any friends who would call him and ask him out for a walk, a drink, a swim or ANYthing. None. Thus, does the claim refer more to him or to me?

Issue: Does anything exist in Singapore?

On my way to work now, i am looking outside, watching the scenery passing by and wondering how much of this green land will still be there next year. I also looked at the LRT line, wondering if there was anything as strong as cement, but that looks a bit better than that.

Then i thought: cement doesn't stay that stable either. It gets old and starts cracking. What does the government do?
I thought, well, like a lot of things, it will just tear it down like anything else that is old and build on top of that.
Thus, i was thinking: does anything older than 10 years (or less) still exist? I mean, where i stay, i am LITERALLY surrounded by constructions of a 40storey building, a hotel, a new condo and from december onwards, the church next door will be teared down. So really, back to my question: does anything in Singapore stay alive/exists?

Those buildings have a history. People lived in it for years and created their own history. I just have this feeling or thought that the Singaporean government does not allow things or even people to exist, to let it create history and let it age on its own. I am not only talking about the gay community that is really non existant here, but also elder people seem to receive either no life or respect for their hard work through their lives. Why? Because they are still working when they're 70 and are supposed to rest.
It always says: "new education", "get more this and that". New new new. What about the old? You don't create the new out of nowhere. You create the new out of the old. So why eliminate the old? Why not make things better?

Use the old to learn from it and make it better, because that's how you learn to make things newer.
